Mighty Tolga

Born in Germany Tolga began to feel his musical interests by the age of 17. Influenced by different artists like Dennis Brown & Garnet Silk and mainly Yah Meek he soon developped his own style. But Yah Meek was his tutor who introduced him into the jamaican Lifestyle. By the time he hooked up with other artists who are successfully involved in the Dancehall business like germanys wellknown artist Gentleman or one of the topclass singers and producers named Richie Stephens.

Gentleman launched a heavily rotated Track (Heat of the night) in 1999 where Tolga was involved. Their common video was shot in Jamaica along with Richie Stephens; Title went on heavy rotation in the local jamaican TV-music stations. Mighty Tolgas career was strongly influenced by Gentlemans first album single “Heat of the night” and their teamwork helped open up business connections.
