The lecture provides an introduction to an initial public offering process in Germany describing the preparatory steps ahead of the actual listing and the involvement of a bank in the process. In light of market conditions, the IPO process continuously evolves and the most recent changes from a practitioners’ perspective are highlighted based on the IPO of Ziggo in March 2012.
